M. Wackell Interior Renovations is solely owned and operated by Michael J. Wackell, Sr. He has been in the remodeling business for over 20 years earning him a long-standing, professional reputation. He is a licensed Home Improvement Contractor and a licensed Massachusetts Construction Supervisor.

Michael feels the key to his success is simple – “treat people well”. He builds a strong relationship with his clients based on trust, honesty and integrity. He listens and responds to your needs. You, the client, will be treated as an equal partner when making decisions about your home improvement project – from beginning to end. Michael is an artisan who takes pride in quality craftsmanship, product knowledge, dependability and a high rate of customer satisfaction judged by many repeat customers. These qualities have allowed Michael to build his business to what it is today and it is these same qualities that allow him to earn clients’ trust and keep their business. Michael’s love of woodworking started when he was a young boy. He enjoyed hanging out with his grandfather and father showing an early fascination of how and what they made with their tools. One of his greatest influences was his woodshop class in high school. It was there that his love of woodworking really took shape and he knew then that this was going to be his career.

Michael is a craftsman by training. His education in woodworking, his well-developed skills, along with a natural talent for art and design led him to start M. Wackell Interior Renovations in 1984. As his business grew, so did his reputation. Michael is widely known for his knowledge and expertise.

In 2002, Michael designed and built his own woodshop, giving him the distinct advantage of not having to work at the mercy of other vendors. For the client - this saves time, eliminates frustration and guarantees that the project will stay on-schedule.

Michael and his wife Diane are long-time residents of Millbury. They have four children and two grandchildren.
